Late in 2000, Mr. Deepak Dixit (Founder of Dharohar) decided to bring the many facets of Rajasthani culture under one roof in order to revive and promote our rich heritage and art. This idea and the support of the director of West Zone Cultural Centre, Dr. Vishwas Mehta (IAS) was instrumental in the birth of "Dharohar". That was just the beginning of Mr. Dixit’s vision of promoting Rajasthani culture and heritage and it has been 14 unforgettable years of this staple evening affair for everyone visiting Udaipur.OUR TEAM
Mr. Deepak Dixit- Founder-
A simple man born in a Brahmin family chose acting as his career. He has left an impressive mark by his acting in films like Love’86(1984-85), Panah (1992), Khiladi (1991-92), Bedardi (1993), Zid (1992), Kyuki Hum Deewane Hai (2001). He has received an award for the best Actor in the1985 Nandikar Mega festival and also the Narayan Swami Award for his imperative performance and work in the field of acting and art.His love and dedication towards art and culture encouraged him to establish Dharohar for the promotion of our heritage and revive the folk artistes of Rajasthan.
Himani Joshi- Manager
A Graduate in Business management from MLSU and Master's in Mass Communication from the Delhi School of communication, Mrs. Joshi decided to use her creative perspective and sound business knowledge to steep every event in the right blend of innovation and heritage at Dharohar , Events.
Chinmay Dixit - Creative Director
A Tourism Consultant by profession and a Singer by choice; he has years of experience in organising Royal Weddings and Rural fairs.
